Stuffed apples baked in beer

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
6 mediums Cooking apples
½ cup Raisins
½ cup Packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
1 cup Great Western Beer

Directions

1. Core apples. Remove 1-inch strip of peel around top.

2. Mix raisins, brown sugar and cinnamon. Fill apple centres.

3. Place apples in a baking dish. Pour Great Western Beer over.

4. Bake at 350 degrees F for 40 to 45 min, or until tender, basting occasionally.

5. Cool to room temperature, basting while cooling. Serve with it's own sauce. If desired, add cream Makes 6 servings.
