Swedish coffee-snack cake from mix

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
2 cups Snack-cake mix
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
¼ teaspoon Cloves
1 Egg, slightly beaten
cup Milk
tablespoon Shortening
3 tablespoons Chopped nuts mixed -with-
1 tablespoon Sugar -and-
1 teaspoon Cinnamon

Directions

In 8-inch layer-cake or square pan, stir cake mix, cinnamon & cloves with rubber spatula until well blended. Stir in egg, milk & short until well blended. Scrape down sides of pan. Sprinkle with nut-sugar mixture. Bake in preheated 375 degree oven 30 to 35 minutes. Cool in pan on rack. Submitted By TERRI WOLTMON On 04-05-95
