Swiss cheese sauce

3 tablespoons Margarine or. butter
3 tablespoons Gold Medal all-purpose flour
¼ teaspoon Salt Dash of pepper Dash of ground nutmeg
1 L/2 Cups milk
cup Dry white wine
½ cup Shredded Swiss cheese 6 ounces)

Directions

Heat margarine in I l/2-quart saucepan until melted. Stir in flour, salt, pepper and nutmeg until blended. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until smooth and bubbly; remove from heat. Stir in milk and wine. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Boil and stir I minute; remove from heat. Stir in cheese until melted.
