Three generation herbed spinach pasta

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
2 cups Uncooked penne pasta
½ medium Onion, sliced
1 Clove garlic, minced
1 tablespoon Olive oil
¾ teaspoon Basil
1 medium Red, yellow or green pepper, in strips
1 can (13 1/2 ounce) Fresh Cut whole leaf spinach, well drained

Directions

Cook pasta according to package directions; drain and keep warm.

Cook onion, garlic and basil in oil in skillet until onion is tender.

Add pepper strips; cook 3 minutes. Stir in spinach; heat through. Toss with pasta and top with Parmesan cheese, if deisred.
