Tomato - english pea broil

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
ounce Can English peas; drained
1 tablespoon Butter or margarine; melted
¼ teaspoon Pepper
3 mediums Tomatoes
3 tablespoons Grated Parmesan cheese; divided
3 eaches Fresh mushrooms; sliced

Directions

Combine peas, butter, and pepper; mix well. Cut tomatoes in half.

Spoon about 1 tablespoon pea mixture on cut side of each tomato half; sprinkle with 1-½ teaspoons cheese. Top each half with a mushroom slice.

Broil 5 inches from heat for 2 to 3 minutes or until cheese is browned. Yield: 6 servings.
