Broiled tomato (#4)

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 large Ripe but firm tomato, about
. 8 to 10 ounces
x Olive oil
¼ teaspoon Light brown sugar
x Salt and Freshly ground
. black pepper

Directions

1. Halve the tomato crosswise. 2. Brush the cut side of each half lightly with oil.

3. Sprinkle each half with sugar, salt to taste, and freshly ground black pepper.

4. Place on a small baking sheet. Broil 5 to 7 minutes, until soft to the touch and golden on top. Serve immediately.
