Tomato-grits casseroles

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
½ cup Quick-cooking grits;
2 cups Boiling water;
1 teaspoon Salt;
1 quart Stewed tomatoes; fresh or canned
¾ cup Sugar; (or equal to 3/4 cup of sugar substitute)
¼ cup Butter =OR=-
¼ cup Margarine;

Directions

Add grits to rapidly boiling water to which salt has been added; stir well and cook until thick, stirring often. Combine tomatoes, sugar, and butter; heat. Combine with grits, blending well.
