Tomato-spring onion quiche

1 | cup | Sliced spring onions |
4 | Strips bacon; cooked crisp | |
1 | cup | Grated cheddar cheese |
5 | Eggs | |
¾ | cup | Half & half |
½ | teaspoon | Salt |
¼ | teaspoon | Black pepper |
⅛ | teaspoon | Garlic powder |
3 | Plum tomatoes; thickly sliced (3 to 4) | |
1 | teaspoon | Italian seasoning |
1 | Green pepper; (optional) |
Directions
Preheat oven to 350. Cook bacon until crisp, and drain and crumble. Spread sliced onions over pie crust. Top with crumbled bacon (green peppers) and cheese. Put eggs, half and half, salt, pepper, and garlic powder in the blender. Blend until well mixed. Pour egg mixture over ingredients in pie crust. Carefully arrange tomato slices on top and sprinkle with herbs. Bake at
350 for 30-40 minutes.
