Ingredients

3 pounds Short Ribs Of Beef
¼ cup All-Purpose Flour
2 tablespoons Shortening
1 can Condensed Beef Broth (10 1/2
Oz)
1 cup Dried Apricots
2 tablespoons Brown Sugar
2 tablespoons Vinegar
¼ teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
¼ teaspoon Ground Cloves
¼ teaspoon Ground Allspice

Directions

Dust ribs with flour; brown in shortening in large heavy pan. Pour off excess fat. Combine remaining ingredients; pour over ribs. Cover.

Cook over low heat about 2½ hrs or until ribs are tender; turn ribs and baste with sauce occasionally. Yield: 4 to 6 servings.
