Trout with almonds and apples

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
7 Pat dwigans
6 Whole cleaned trout
Flour
¼ cup Cooking oil
1 tablespoon Butter
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup Blanched almonds
½ cup Melted butter or margarine
2 Peeled and coarsley chopped
Apples
½ cup Thinly sliced mushrooms
½ tablespoon Lemon juice
¼ cup Chopped fresh parsley

Directions

Preheat oven to 400. Wash the trout and pat dry. Coat them lightly with flour and fry in the oil/btter combination until crisp. Season them with salt and pepper. Set them aside onan oven proof platter.

Saute the almonds in butter or margarine unti golden. Mix them with the apples, mushrooms and lemon juice and pour over the fish. bake for 10 minutes and garnish with chopped parsley to serve.
