Ingredients

1 pounds Pork sausage
1 medium Onion -- chopped
½ medium Green pepper -- chopped
2 tablespoons Flour
½ teaspoon Each dried basil and
Marjoram leaves crumbled
15 ounces Can tomato sauce
8 ounces Mozzarella cheese -- sliced
Batter
2 Eggs
1 cup Flour
1 cup Milk
1 tablespoon Oil
¼ teaspoon Salt

Directions

In a large skillet, cook sausage until browned. Pour off excess fat.

To skillet, add onion and green pepper. Cook 3-4 minutes. Stir in flour, basil, marjoram and tomato sauce. Heat well. Pour into a 13x9" baking pan> Top with mozzarella slices. To make popover batter; beat together eggs,flour, milk, oil and salt.Pour over ingredients in pan. Sprinkle top with parmesan cheese.Bake at 425 for 25 to 30 minutes until well browned. Serve immediately.
