Vegetable bean soup

Ingredients

1 pack Knoor Vegetable Soup Mix
cup Water
1 11.5 oz can vegetable juice
1 Vegetarian Veg. Bouillon
Cube (OR 2 beef bouillon
Cubes)
cup Pasta Flakes *
1 pounds Frozen soup vegetables
½ teaspoon Celery seed
1 tablespoon Dried onion flakes
1 can Chick peas (drained)
1 dash Tabasco (or to taste)
Pepper/Salt to taste

Directions

*Pasta Flakes can be found in Kosher section of grocery store. They are little squares of pasta.

In 3 quart sauce pan, add water, vegetable juice, soup mix, and bouillon cube, bring to boil. Add pasta flakes, dried onions, celery seed, and frozen vegetables, lower heat and simmer slowly for 10 minutes. Add drained chick peas and tabasco, pepper and salt to taste, heat and serve.

For non vegetarian soup you can add left over beef or chicken if desired.

NOTE: If pasta flakes are not available, use ½ leftover rice, or : ½ cup macaroni (uncooked) cook according to package directions
