Venison and tomatoes

3 | slices | Bacon; chopped |
¾ | pounds | Venison; ground |
½ | cup | Onion; chopped |
1 | teaspoon | Chili powder |
¾ | teaspoon | Salt |
½ | teaspoon | Paprika |
¼ | teaspoon | Pepper |
1 | each | 14.5 oz can stewed tomatoes |
Hot cooked rice |
Directions
Fry bacon until crisp; add venison, onion, and seasonings. Cook over medium heat until meat is browned, stirring to crumble. Add tomatoes; cover, reduce heat, and simmer 40 minutes. Serve over rice. Yield: 4 servings.
