Walnut and herb crusted chicken

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
¾ cup Finely chopped diamond walnuts
¼ cup Plain bread crumbs
teaspoon Dried basil leaves
¾ teaspoon Dried rosemary leaves
2 tablespoons Flour
½ teaspoon Salt
1 Egg or egg white
pounds Chicken pieces; (skin removed)

Directions

In a shallow dish, combine walnuts, bread crumbs, basil, rosemary, flour, and salt. In a second shallow dish, lightly beat egg. Roll chicken in egg, then in walnut mixture. Place on baking sheet.

Bake 40-45 minutes at 350° F. until crust is browned and juices run clear when pierced with a fork.

Makes 4 servings.
