Watercress mayonnaise

2 | bunches | Watercress; leaves only, roughly chopped |
1 | cup | Sour cream |
2 | teaspoons | Fresh lemon juice |
1 | dash | Tabasco sauce |
1 | teaspoon | Salt |
¼ | teaspoon | Freshly-ground black pepper |
½ | cup | Mayonnaise; preferably homemade |
Directions
In a blender, combine the watercress, sour cream, lemon juice, tabasco, salt, and pepper. Puree until smooth, then transfer to a bowl and stir in the mayonnaise. This recipe yields 1½ cups of mayonnaise.
