White clam sauce for pasta

3 | Cloves garlic, crushed or minced (up to 4) | |
¼ | cup | Butter |
⅛ | cup | Olive oil |
2 | cans | Snows chopped clams, undrained |
¼ | cup | White wine |
Pepper to taste | ||
1 | tablespoon | Chopped parsley (up to 2) |
Salt to taste |
Directions
Cook garlic in butter and olive oil until limp. Add clams, wine, parsley, and pepper, and simmer until slightly thickened. Add salt if necessary to taste.
