Ingredients

1 | cup | Butter |
½ | cup | Lard |
1½ | cup | Sugar |
½ | cup | Sweet milk |
2 | Eggs | |
½ | teaspoon | Baking soda |
1 | teaspoon | Baking powder |
4 | cups | Flour |
Directions
Cream the butter, lard and sugar. Add the milk and eggs; beat well.
Sift the flour with the baking soda and baking powder. Gradually add the flour mixture to the sugar mixture. Be sure to add just enough flour to make a soft dough. Roll out on a floured surface until thin.
Cut out with a cookie cutter or biscuit cutter. Bake at 375 degrees for about 8 minutes.
