Whole chicken in a bag

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
2 tablespoons Olive oil
2 eaches Cloves garlic;crushed
1 teaspoon Whole thyme
1 each Juice of 1/2 lemon
3 pounds Whole chicken
1 each Salt and pepper to taste
1 each Cooking parchment paper
1 each Paper bag, lunch sack size
1 each Aluminum foil

Directions

Prepare a dressing of the oil,garlic,thyme and lemon juice. Rub the bird with this dressing, and add a bit of salt and pepper. Tear off an 18-inch-long piece of parchment paper, and carefully wrap up the chicken. Place the bundle in a paper bag, and then wrap in aluminum foil. Place the bundle on a rack in the oven.
