Baked mackerel

Ingredients

1 | 10-ounce mackerel, dressed | |
And split | ||
¾ | cup | Chicken bouillion |
1 | Lemon slice | |
2 | ounces | Onion, thinly sliced |
Salt and pepper to taste | ||
Paprika | ||
dash | Hot pepper sauce | |
1 | tablespoon | Margarine |
Directions
Place fish in small baking dish. Add bouillion and lemon. Place onion slices on top of fish. Then sprinkle with salt, pepper, paprika and hot pepper sauce. Cover with aluminum foil. Bake in hot oven (400F) for about 15 minutes or until fish flakes easily with touch of fork.
Remove fish and onions with slotted spatula; place onions on serving plate. Drain excess liquid from baking dish and return fish to dish.
Pierce fish lightly; spread with margarine and return to oven for 30 seconds until margarine melts. *From Weight Watchers International Cookbook* Submitted By MICHELLE BRUCE On 01-31-95
