Baked stuffed haddock^

2 | Or 3 haddock fillets | |
1 | cup | Bread crumbs |
¼ | cup | Butter, melted |
1 | tablespoon | Onion, chopped |
2 | tablespoons | Hot water |
Salt and pepper | ||
8 | slices | Bacon |
Directions
Mix crumbs, butter, onion and water; season with salt and pepper to taste. Cut fish in halves, put a tablespoon or so of stuffing on each piece, top with a slice of bacon. Put in a baking pan, add a little water and the other bacon. Bake in a 350F. oven, basting occasionally.
