Beckham county honey rose cheese cake

½ cup Shortening
cup Sugar
¼ cup Honey
2 Eggs
1 teaspoon Lemon Extract
1 teaspoon Orange Extract
2 cups Flour
1 pack (3 Oz) Cream Cheese
cup Powdered Sugar
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
teaspoon Salt
1 cup Buttermilk
1 teaspoon Vinegar
1 teaspoon Baking Soda
1 teaspoon Red Food Coloring
1 teaspoon Warm Water
1 teaspoon Vanilla

Directions

CREAM CHEESE FROSTING

Cream together 1st six ingredients. Sift flour, cinnamon and salt together. Add alternately with part of the buttermilk to creamed mixture. Add vinegar and soda to the last part of the buttermilk and mix well. Add red food coloring to complete mixture and into a 7½ x 11 greased pan. Bake in preheated 350 F oven for about 30 mins, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Soften cream cheese. Add sugar, water, and vanilla. Beat until creamy and spread over cake.
