| 2 | tablespoons | Chopped green pepper |

| ¼ | teaspoon | Sugar |
| ½ | teaspoon | Worchestershire sauce |
| 1½ | tablespoon | Chile sauce |
| ⅔ | cup | Canned tomatoes |
| ½ | cup | Water |
| ¼ | cup | Pearl barley, salt&pepper |
Directions
Saute beef, onion, celery and green pepper. Pour off fat and stir in rest of the ingredients and bring to a boil then turn down heat and simmer until barley is cooked.
