Beef oven stew with meatballs

1 | Beaten egg | |
2 | tablespoons | Cornstarch |
2 | teaspoons | Instant minced onion |
½ | teaspoon | Dry mustard |
¼ | teaspoon | Chili powder |
½ | teaspoon | Salt |
8 | ounces | Ground beef; (up to 10) |
2 | smalls | Potatoes; peeled/quartered |
2 | smalls | Carrots; sliced |
1 | small | Onion; quartered |
8 | ounces | Tomatoes OR stewed tomatoes; or more |
1 | Beef bouillon cube | |
3 | tablespoons | Water |
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 F. Combine egg, cornstarch, instant minced onion, dry mustard, chili powder and salt. Add ground beef and mix well. Shape into 6-8 balls. Brown in Microwave on High for 6-7 minutes. Placei n 1½ quart casserole. Add potatoes, carrots and onion. Mix together remaining ingredients and heat in Microwave. Pour over meat and vegetables. Cover and bake at 350 ° until vegetables are tender, aobut 1 hour and 15 minutes.
