Best ice cream - strawberry

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
2 pints Sweet frozen strawberries; thawed
4 Eggs; separated
cup Sugar
3 pints Half-and-Half
(peaches may be substituted for the strawberries)

Directions

Mix sugar with egg yolks; mix well. Add a little Half & Half; mix. Beat egg whites until stiff; add sugar mixture, strawberries and the remaining Half & Half. Put into ice cream freezer. Make as usual. Serves 6 to 10.
