Biscuits ( oatmeal drop )

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 cup All-purpose flour
1 tablespoon Baking powder
¼ cup Shortening
1 cup Quick-cooking rolled oats
1 Egg; beaten
cup Milk
2 tablespoons Honey
½ teaspoon Salt

Directions

Stir thoroughly the flour, baking powder, and ½ teaspoon salt. Cut in shortening till mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in oats.

Combine egg, milk, and honey; add all at once to dry mixture. Stir just till moistened. Drop b spoonfuls onto greased baking sheet.

Bake at 425 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
