2 | tablespoons | Vegetable oil |
1 | tablespoon | Lemon juice |
½ | teaspoon | Garlic, fresh, finely chopped |
4 | cups | Lettuce, torn |
1 | medium | Avocado, peeled, cut into wedges |
1 | medium | Tomato, ripe, cut into wedges |
½ | cup | Onion, sliced 1/8 thick, separated into rings |
1 | can | ( 11 oz. ) Mandarin orange segments, drained |
½ | cup | Blue cheese, crumbled |
8 | slices | Bacon, crisp, crumbled |

Time: 20 minutes In a small bowl stir together all dressing ingredients. On a platter or individual salad plates place lettuce.
Arrange avocado, tomato, onion and mandarin orange segments on lettuce; sprinkle with blue cheese and bacon. Pour dressing over salad. Yield: 6 servings.
