Broccoliflower salad

1 | Head cauliflower flowerets | |
1 | bunch | Broccoli flowerets |
1 | pack | Peas, Frozen -- uncooked |
1 | pack | Hidden Valley Ranch Salad |
Dressing mix | ||
2 | cups | Mayonnaise |
1 | cup | Sour cream |
1 | tablespoon | Sugar |
1 | teaspoon | Salt |
1 | teaspoon | Garlic powder |
½ | cup | Cheddar cheese -- cubed |
Directions
Cut vegetables into flowerets (use an equal size bunch of both). Add frozen peas.
Blend together: Mayonnaise or Miracle Whip, sour cream, dressing mix, salt, sugar, and garlic powder. Pour mixture over vegetables.
Refrigerate for several hours (overnight, if possible).
Add cheese just before serving. NOTES : This is a "secret" recipe stolen from a restaurant in Peshtigo Wisconsin, when my brother lived up there. It's really delicious! Serves a crowd.
