Butterless, eggless, milkless cake

1 pounds Raisins
1 quart Water
1 pounds Brown sugar
3 tablespoons Lard
½ teaspoon Cloves
½ teaspoon Cinnamon
½ teaspoon Nutmeg
1 teaspoon Baking soda
cup Flour
2 teaspoons Baking powder

Directions
