Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 Cinnamon stick - 1.5 inch
3 Cardamom pods; up to 4
2 Black pepper corns; up to 3
2 Cloves; up to 3
½ teaspoon Ground ginger
1 cup Water
1 teaspoon Sugar
1 teaspoon Darjeeling tea leaves
¼ teaspoon Masala Spice Mix
¼ cup Milk

Directions

MASALA SPICE MIX

TO ASSEMBLE

1. Grind cinnamon stick, cardamom, black pepper corns, and cloves to a powder. Stir in ground ginger.

2. Combine water, sugar, tea and ¼ teaspoon spice mix in a pan and bring to a boil. Simmer for one minute.

3. Add milk, bring to a boil and simmer for 3-5 minutes.
