¼ | cup | Water |
2 | teaspoons | Lemon juice |
2 | tablespoons | Sugar |
1 | tablespoon | All-purpose flour |
¼ | teaspoon | Ground cinnamon |
½ | cup | American cheese (2 oz); shredded |
Directions
Arrange apple slices in a shallow baking dish; sprinkle with the water and the lemon juice. Combine sugar, flour, ground cinnamon, and ⅛ teaspoon salt; sprinkle over apples. Bake covered, in a 350 F. oven about 45 minutes or till apples are tender. Uncover; top with the shredded American cheese.
Bake 5 minutes more or till cheese melts.
Makes 6 servings.
