Cherry skillet cake

2 | tablespoons | Cornstarch |
Few drops red food coloring | ||
1 | No 2 can pitted red sour | |
Cherries, packed in water | ||
1 | Sponge cake or layer cake | |
Light cream |
Directions
In skillet of same size as cake layer, combine first 5 ingredients.
Cook over low heat, stirring, until thickened. Place cake layer, top side up, on cherries; cover; cook 5 min. Invert onto serving plate.
Serve warm, with cream if desired. Makes 6 servings.
