Ingredients

cup Non-Fat Dry Milk Powder
cup Sugar
2 eaches Tb Cornstarch
2 eaches Tb Unsweetend Cocoa Powder
1 each Envelope Unflavored Gelatin
teaspoon Salt
cup Cold Water
3 eaches Egg Yolks; beaten
2 eaches Egg Whites
1 teaspoon Vanilla
¼ teaspoon Cream Of Tartar
2 ounces Frozen Whipped Dessert Topping; thawed

Directions

In a saucepan combine the dry milk powder, sugar, cornstarch, cocoa powder, gelatin and salt. Stir in cold water. Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened and bubbly. Stir about half the hot mixture into egg yolks; return all to the saucepan. Bring to a gentle boil. Cook and stir 1 minute more. Set the misture aside to cool. In a medium mixer bowl beat egg whites, vanilla and cream of tartar on high speed of electric mixer until stiff peaks form (tips stand straight). Fold in whipped dessert topping. Turn into a 4 or 5-cup mold. Chill several hours or overnight until firm. Garnish with additional whipped topping, if desired. Makes 10 servings.
