Corn bread crust (one pie topping)

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 cup Flour -- all purpose
1 cup Cornmeal -- white or yellow
Stone-ground
2 tablespoons Sugar
1 tablespoon Baking powder
1 teaspoon Salt
1 Egg, lightly beaten
1 cup Milk
3 tablespoons Vegetable oil

Directions

Measure the flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, and salt into a mixing bowl; blend well. Stir together the egg, milk, and oil and mix into the ry ingredients just until combined. Cover and chill.
