Corn-flavored foldovers

Ingredients

1½ | cup | Flour |
½ | cup | Yellow cornmeal |
1 | tablespoon | Sugar |
2 | teaspoons | Baking powder |
½ | teaspoon | Salt |
1 | teaspoon | Dried thyme |
1 | each | Egg, beaten |
¾ | cup | Sour cream |
3 | tablespoons | Melted butter |
Directions
Pre-heat oven to 425 degrees F. Blend dry ingredients, add sour cream and egg. Mix to a soft dough, knead 2 minutes. Roll ¼" thick, cut into 2" circles. Brush circles lightly with melted butter, fold in half and brush top lightly with butter. Arrange with edges touching on baking sheet. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until golden. Makes about 24.
