Country green beans (also cor ii)

Ingredients

1 | pounds | Fresh green beans, trimmed |
¼ | cup | Chopped fully cooked ham |
¼ | cup | Butter |
¼ | cup | Water |
1 | Garlic clove, minced | |
½ | teaspoon | Salt |
¼ | teaspoon | Pepper |
Directions
In a saucepan, combine all ingredients. Cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes or until beans are tender.
YIELD: 4 servings
NOTES : You can also add ¼ cup chopped onion, but I think it tastes fine without it.
