Crab casserole

8 Slices Bread
2 cups Crabmeat
1 cup Diced Onion
½ cup Miracle Whip
1 cup Chopped Celery
Paprika To Taste
½ cup Diced Green Pepper
4 larges Beaten Eggs
3 cups Milk
10½ ounce Cream Of Mushroom Soup
Grated Cheddar Cheese

Directions

Cook the celery for 10 minutes in a small amount of water. Drain the celery. Dice 4 slices of bread into the casserole. Mix the crabmeat, onion, Miracle Whip, green peppers and celery. Place over bread in casserole. Dice remaining 4 slices of bread and place on top of crabmeat mixture. Mix the eggs and milk; pour over top. Bake for 15 minutes in a 325øF oven. Spoon soup over top. Add grated cheese and paprika. Continue to bake at 325øF for one hour. Serve hot. From: Syd's Cookbook.
