Cream cheese chicken (crockpot)

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 Frying chicken; cut up
6 ounces Cream cheese cut into cubes
2 tablespoons Melted butter or margarine
½ cup Sauterne wine or sherry
Salt and pepper
2 tablespoons Dry Italian salad dressing mix
1 can Condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 tablespoon Chopped onion

Directions

Bruch chicken with butter and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Place in a crockpot and sprinkle dry mix all over. Cover and cook on low for 6 -7 hours. About 45 minutes before done, mix soup, cream cheese, wine and onion in small saucepan. Cook until smooth. Pour over chicken, cover and cook another 45 minutes. Serve with sauce.
