PER QUART OF CUCUMBERS
Pack cucumbers in gallon jar with ingredients above and pour to the top with vinegar. Cover and store at room temperature for 3 months.
After 3 months, pour off vinegar and slice cucumbers. Put cucumbers back into gallon jar and mix 1½ cup sugar per quart. Refrigerate. This will make it's own juice and keep indefinitely in the refrigerator.
Serving Ideas : Easy, easy, easy!!!! NOTES : If you like sweet pickles, you will love these. They are also nice and crunchy. My neighbor stops by on a regular basis for "refills".
