English muffin pizza melt

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 pounds Lean ground beef
¼ cup Onion; chopped
Nonstick vegetable cooking spray
1 can Pizza sauce; (8-oz)
1 teaspoon Dried parsley flakes
½ teaspoon Basil
¼ teaspoon Garlic powder
2 tablespoons Mozzarella cheese; shredded
3 English muffins; split

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Cook beef and onion in skillet coated with vegetable spray. Cook until meat is no longer pink. Drain and dry with paper towels to reduce fat. Stir in pizza sauce and seasonings.

Top each muffin with ⅙ cup beef mixture. You may toast muffins before adding meat and cheese. Top with 1 teaspoon cheese.

Place in oven and bake for 10 to 15 minutes or until heated thoroughly and cheese is melted.
