Flank steak with pineapple chili sauce

1 | can | (8 oz) DOLE Crushed Pineapple in Juice |
1 | pounds | Beef flank steak; (up to 1-1/2) |
Salt and pepper; to taste | ||
¾ | cup | Chili sauce |
¼ | teaspoon | Garlic powder |
2 | drops | Hot pepper sauce |
Directions
Drain pineapple well; save juice for a beverage. Season steak with salt and pepper. Broil 4 inches from heat 5-7 minutes on each side for medium-rare.
Combine drained pineapple, chili sauce, garlic powder and hot pepper sauce in saucepan. Cook over medium heat until heated through. Slice steak across the grain into thin slices. Top with chili sauce.
