Freezer jam

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 pack Powdered pectin
1 cup Water
cup Mashed fresh strawberries
5 cups Sugar

Directions

"I just found this recipe in Country Living magazine. Although it calls for strawberries, it'll probably work with your blackberries as well." - Judy Krygier

Makes About 4 cups of jam:

1. In a large saucepan combine pectin and water and bring to a boil.

Boil 1 minute.

2. Stir in strawberries and sugar and boil 1 minute longer.

3. Refrigerate overnight before packaging for the freezer.
