The Aphrodisiac Cookbook

"Testing this recipe with Patrick brought back a flood of memories of the days we firstmet. I was out one hot July night walking home with a friend, and we passed an outdoor coffee shop called the Pop Stop. I saw a guy sitting at a table alone, his feet up on a drain. Our eyes met, and as I passed, I waited a few seconds, turned - he did the same - and we gave each other a huge smile. I placed an ad in the =91glances' section the next week (my first classified I might add): =91Pop Stop 7/6. You - sitting outside at a table alone. Me - walking by with a friend. We exchanged smiles, how about phone numbers?' Two days later, he called. He was so excited, sincere, even a little innocent - something you don't find these days. We met for ice cream, talked for hours, and had our first kiss. It was wonderful. As I wrote him a bit later, =91Here's to coffee shops, ice cream, and classifieds.'"
