Ingredients
Quantity | Ingredient | |
---|---|---|
¾ | cup | Flour |
¾ | cup | Oatmeal |
⅔ | cup | Brown sugar |
½ | teaspoon | Baking soda |
¼ | teaspoon | Salt |
1 | teaspoon | Cinnamon |
½ | cup | Melted butter |
Directions
Prepare your favorite fruit pie filling -- cherry, blueberry, raspberry, elderberry or raisin. Pour it into an unbaked pie shell and top it with the following crumb mixture.
In a bowl, mix together the dry ingredients, then add the melted butter and mix it thoroughly until all the ingredients are moistened.
Bake the pie at 425 oF for 25 to 30 minutes or until the filling boils and the crumbs are nicely browned. This recipe makes enough crumbs for approximately 3 pies.
