Gram's marinated mushrooms

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 cup Dry white wine -- or
Vermouth
½ cup Vegetable oil
½ cup Olive oil
3 tablespoons Fresh lemon juice
3 larges Cloves garlic
2 teaspoons Dried thyme
2 teaspoons Sugar
teaspoon Salt
½ teaspoon Freshly ground pepper
2 pounds Button mushrooms -- trimmed
And wiped cl
¼ cup Parsley -- minced

Directions

Put wine, oils, lemon juice, garlic, thyme, sugar, salt and pepper in saucepan; bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer, covered, 10 minutes; add mushrooms and simmer 6 more minutes; stir in parsley and cool; put into sterilized jars, cover and refrigerate 24 hours before using; keep refrigerated! Yield: about 1½ quarts.
