Grandma's green beans

Ingredients
Quantity | Ingredient | |

1 | pounds | Green beans; (fresh is best) up to 1-1/2 |
1 | large | Or 2 medium potatos; peeled and cut into small pieces |
1 | small | Onion chopped) |
½ | Stick butter or margerine | |
6 | ounces | Sour cream; (up to 8) |
Directions
Boil cut up green beans along with potatos until tender. Drain all liquid.
In skillet, brown the chopped onion in the margerine or butter lightly. ( 8 minutes)
Pour this butter mixture over the green beans and mix thoroughly.
Add the sour cream and mix.
Garnish with crisp bacon crumbled on top.
