Green bean casserole #3

3 | cans | French-style green beans |
1½ | cup | Grated American cheese |
1 | teaspoon | Garlic powder |
1 | can | Cream of mushroom soup |
1 | carton | (8-oz) sour cream |
Crumbled saltine crackers | ||
1 | Stick butter or margarine |
Directions
Drain 2 cans of green beans (reserve juice from third can). Mix cheese, garlic powder, soup & sour cream. Add this mixture to the green beans & stir well. Top with a thick layer of cracker crumbs & dot with pieces of cut-up butter. Pour into a 13x9-inch casserole dish. Bake at 300 for 1-½ to 2 hours.
