Green salad with apple and bacon

Ingredients

1 | Head lettuce (or combo of various different kinds) | |
2 | Carrots, diced | |
1 | Red apple, diced (with skin) | |
½ | cup | Shredded cheddar cheese |
4 | Sliced cooked bacon, crumbled | |

½ | cup | Olive oil |
2 | tablespoons | Red wine vinegar |
½ | teaspoon | Dry mustard |
¼ | teaspoon | Dried oregano |
1 | pinch | Of granulated sugar |
Salt and pepper to taste |
Directions
Combine together, and allow to chill for at least 1 hour.
In chilled bowl, break up lettuce into bite sized pieces. Add the diced carrots and apple. Toss. Drizzle over top of salad, and toss gently to coat. Sprinkle the cheese and bacon over top just prior to serving. Makes 4-6 servings.
