Green salad with apple and bacon

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 Head lettuce (or combo of various different kinds)
2 Carrots, diced
1 Red apple, diced (with skin)
½ cup Shredded cheddar cheese
4 Sliced cooked bacon, crumbled
%%%%% VINAIGRETTE %%%%%
½ cup Olive oil
2 tablespoons Red wine vinegar
½ teaspoon Dry mustard
¼ teaspoon Dried oregano
1 pinch Of granulated sugar
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Combine together, and allow to chill for at least 1 hour.

In chilled bowl, break up lettuce into bite sized pieces. Add the diced carrots and apple. Toss. Drizzle over top of salad, and toss gently to coat. Sprinkle the cheese and bacon over top just prior to serving. Makes 4-6 servings.
