Gridiron green peppers

Ingredients

4 Green peppers
Water,salted,boiling
1 can Pork and beans(21oz)
6 Smoked link sausages,chunks
1 teaspoon Onion,minced,dried
2 tablespoons Brown sugar
¼ cup Catsup
1 teaspoon Mustard,prepared
Cheddar cheese,grated(opt)

Directions

1. Cut tops off green peppers; remove seeds and membranes. 2. Steam pepper shells over boiling salted water 5 minutes; drain. 3. Combine remaining ingredients except cheese in a bowl; fill pepper shells with this mixture. 4. Place filled shells in ovenproof casserole; bake in preheated 350'F. oven 20 minutes. 5. Top with desired amount of cheese if you like; serve at once.
