Grilled salmon steaks with soy and lime - gourmet

Ingredients

2 | teaspoons | Fresh lime juice |
2 | tablespoons | Soy sauce |
¾ | teaspoon | Sugar |
⅛ | teaspoon | Salt |
1 | tablespoon | Vegetable oil |
2 | Salmon steaks; about 1\" thick | |
Lime wedges; for garnish |
Directions
In a bowl, stir together the lime juice, soy sauce, sugar, salt and oil and rub the mixture onto both sides of each salmon steak. Let the salmon stand for 15 minutes. Heat an oiled ridged pan over moderately high heat until it is smoking and in it saute the salmon for 3 to 4 minutes on each side, or until it just flakes and is cooked through. Transfer thew salmon to heated plates and serve with the lime wedges.
Serves 2.
NOTE: You can also cook this on the grill.
