Ground beef and rice curry

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 pounds Ground beef
1 large Onion; chopped
1 cup Converted rice
1 can (28 oz) tomatoes; cut up
cup Water
2 Apples; peeled /chopped
1 tablespoon Curry powder
1 Clove garlic; minced
½ teaspoon Salt
¼ teaspoon Pepper

Directions

In a large skillet, brown the beef with the onion. Drain excess fat. Put the ground beef and onions in a 3½ quart crock pot and add the remaining ingredients. Mix well. Cover and cook on low 4 hours.
